Male Breast Reduction:

Diagnosis

Gynecomastia is breast enlargement in men. Gynecomastia affects an estimated 40 to 60 percent of men. In some men it may affect only one breast or both.

Treatment

This procedure is done for men who feel self conscious about their appearance. Breast reduction surgery can help. This procedure removes fat and or glandular tissue from the breasts.

Results

Results are a flatter, firmer and better contoured chest.

Abdominoplasty:

Diagnosis

An abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) is designed to firm and smooth the abdomen. You may be a good candidate for this procedure if you:

• Have excess or loose sagging abdominal skin.
• Your abdomen protrudes and is out of proportion to the rest of your body.
• Abdominal muscles have weakened by pregnancy or aging.

Treatment

The tummy tuck incision is a horizontal incision which extends outward toward the hip bones. The more loose skin removed, the longer the incision.

Dr. Honeycutt keeps the incisions within swim suit lines whenever possible. She may tighten the underlying muscles by pulling them together and stitching them in place. Any excess skin from the lower abdomen will be trimmed away.

Liposuction is almost always performed all along the lower back, flanks and hips. This treats the whole aesthetic unit of the torso and contributes to the dramatic changes you see here.

Results

The results are a flatter, firmer abdomen. The hips and flanks are also reduced and contoured.

Male Blepharoplasty:

Diagnosis

Cosmetic eyelid surgery can improve your eyes if you look tired, sad, or older than you feel. Excess fat and skin can be removed from the upper eyelids and the bags under the eyes can be tightened. It may be done alone or in combination with other cosmetic procedures.

Treatment

Incisions follow the natural contour lines in both upper and lower lids, providing access to skin and fatty tissue. The thin surgical scars are almost invisible and blend into the natural lines and folds of your eyelids.

Results

The result is a more rested, alert and youthful appearance.

Male Liposuction:

Diagnosis

Liposuction is ideal for those who have dieted and exercised but still have that pouch or bulge that won’t budge. The removal of fat by liposuction can be used to contour many areas of the body: cheeks, jowls, and neck; upper arms; breast and chest; back; abdomen and waist; hips, thighs and buttocks; knees, calves, and ankles.

Treatment

Fat is removed though multiple small incisions that are usually in a crease or fold. A small hollow tube or cannula is inserted through one-quarter inch incisions and connected to a suction machine. The cannula, guided by the surgeon, vacuums away unwanted fat.

Results

A smoother, more contoured shape.

Male Thigh Lift

Diagnosis

A thigh lift is designed to reduce excess, sagging skin and fat on the thighs.

Treatment

The procedure involves removing excess skin from either the medial (inner) or lateral (outer) thigh.

For a medial thigh lift, the incisions are placed in the groin that extend downward and wrap around the back of the thigh. It tightens the inner thigh skin to about halfway to the knee.

For a lateral thigh lift or posterior body lift, the incisions are placed at the low abdomen extending around the hips and meet in the back. It lifts loose skin and fat of the buttock and lateral thighs.

Liposuction of the thigh and knee is performed as well to help get rid of excess fat and help with contour.

Results

Reshapes the thighs resulting in smoother and better-proportioned contours of the thighs.

Male Chin Implants

Diagnosis

A weak or receding chin can make the lower face look out of balance. It can make a prominent, strong nose seem larger. A man with a receding chin may unfairly be perceived as less masculine.

Treatment

A prosthetic implant of hydroxyapatite or solid silicone can be placed through a submental or intraoral incision. A sliding genioplasty and fat augmentation can also be performed.

A more balanced and confident profile.

Male Forehead Lift

Diagnosis

A forehead lift relieves sagging eyebrows, softens creases across the forehead and erases the worried or angry expression that can result from frown lines.

Treatment

The traditional forehead lift involves an incision behind the hairline above the ear and passing over the top of the head. In some cases, the incision may be placed in front of your hairline. The newer method is performed with the use of an endoscope, requiring only several small incisions that are easily concealed within the hair. Improvements are made beneath the skin and on the deep muscles; skin and muscle are then tightened.

The outcome gives you a more relaxed, refreshed and youthful appearance.

Male Otoplasty

Diagnosis

Otoplasty (ear pinning) is a procedure to flatten ears that protrude too far from the head.

Treatment

Incisions are placed behind the ears, within the crease of your ears and scalp. Permanent sutures are placed under the skin to hold tissue in place. A headband is worn over the ears for 2 weeks.

Results

Improvement of protruding ears.

Male Dysport & Jeuveau

Diagnosis

Dysport (abobotulinum toxin A) is a great method for temporarily reducing wrinkles. It is favored by women and men as a preventative treatment and also by those who don’t want to take time for cosmetic surgery.

Dysport and Jeuveau can reduce frown lines, crows feet, and forehead wrinkles due to facial animation. It may not remove all static wrinkles (or lines that are present when the face is at rest) but generally softens them.

Treatment

Dysport and Jeuveau work by impairing the transmission of impulses from the nerve cells to the muscles. This causes a temporary and harmless muscle weakening or paralysis, so the muscles that cause certain types of wrinkles become inactive.

Dysport injections usually can be performed in just minutes with little or no discomfort.

Results

Most often you will notice the effects of Dysport within 24 hours of the injection. On the average, results last about 3 months. You can keep your results with periodic maintenance treatments.

Male Dermal Fillers

Restylane, RHA and Versa are cosmetic dermal fillers made of hyaluronic acid, a natural substance that already exists in the human skin. These products are free from animal proteins. After your treatment, you might have some redness or swelling. This will normally last less than seven days. Sunbathing and cold outdoor activities should be avoided until any redness or swelling disappear. Studies have shown that these products generally last between 4 to 24 months, depending on the degree of cross linked hyaluronic acid.

Restylane, RHA and Versa add volume and fullness to the face to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as the lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds). They also add volume to cheeks and lips.

Male PCDC

PCDC is an injectable drug that improves the appearance of fullness associated with submental (neck) fat. PCDC is injected into the fat under the chin. Injections are given at least four weeks apart.
