Earlobe Repair:

Repair of the earlobe that is done as a result of a complete or incomplete laceration to the earlobe. As an example, you may need earlobe repair for anything from a dog bite to a tear from a pierced earring.

Eyelid Surgery:

Diagnosis

Cosmetic eyelid surgery can improve your eyes if you look tired, sad, or older than you feel. Excess fat and skin can be removed from the upper eyelids and the bags under the eyes can be tightened. It may be done alone or in combination with other cosmetic procedures.

Treatment

Incisions follow the natural contour lines in both upper and lower lids, providing access to skin and fatty tissue. The thin surgical scars are almost invisible and blend into the natural lines and folds of your eyelids.

Fat Injections:

Fat injection involves extracting fat cells from the patient’s abdomen, thighs, buttocks or elsewhere and reinjecting them beneath facial, breast or body skin. Fat injection is a great option for people who are allergic to other filler products or who want a more permanent solution to treat their wrinkles and folds. With fat injection, allergic reaction is not a factor because the fat is harvested from a patient’s own body. Once harvested, the fat is gently prepared for reinjection into the areas of concern. Sedation anesthesia is required for this process and the patient will need a responsible adult to transport them home.

Studies have shown that over 80% of injected fat survives if careful technique is used. Additional fat transfer can be done if desired.  Fat is not only a volumizer, but the stem cells within the fat are stimulated to multiply and divide, improving skin quality.  Fat transfer is used in most facelifts and in many breast reconstruction cases.

Forehead Lift:

Diagnosis

A forehead lift relieves sagging eyebrows, softens creases across the forehead and erases the worried or angry expression that can result from frown lines.

Treatment

The traditional forehead lift involves an incision behind the hairline above the ear and passing over the top of the head. In some cases, the incision may be placed in front of your hairline. The newer method is performed with the use of an endoscope, requiring only several small incisions that are easily concealed within the hair. Improvements are made beneath the skin and on the deep muscles; skin and muscle are then tightened.

Laser Resurfacing

Diagnosis

Men and women of all ages can benefit from laser resurfacing or the nonablative erbium laser. Laser resurfacing can enhance your appearance but it won’t completely remove all facial wrinkles or prevent you from aging.

Treatment

Laser resurfacing is done with a carbon dioxide laser by using a beam of laser energy which vaporizes the upper layers. The laser is used to remove areas on the face of damaged or wrinkled skin layer by layer. The procedure is done to minimize the appearance of fine lines especially around the mouth and eyes. Laser resurfacing is also effective in treating facial scars and acne scars or uneven pigmentation. Laser resurfacing may be performed on the whole face or in specific regions.

Otoplasty

Diagnosis

Otoplasty (ear pinning) is a procedure to flatten ears that protrude too far from the head.

Treatment

Incisions are placed behind the ears, within the crease of your ears and scalp. Permanent sutures are placed under the skin to hold tissue in place. A headband is worn over the ears for 2 weeks.
